Thrush Care Gel

A specialised hoof care gel designed for the daily care of hooves exposed to moisture and as supportive care for horses affected by thrush, while helping maintain and support the regeneration of the hoof frog.

Thrush is a common hoof problem that develops in damp environments such as mud, wet bedding, and deep hoof crevices. If left unaddressed, anaerobic bacteria can multiply, leading to tissue breakdown, unpleasant odour, a soft hoof frog, and discomfort for the horse.

This gel works exactly where the problem begins.
Thanks to its specialised applicator, the liquid gel reaches deep into small cracks and recesses, allowing for precise application exactly where it is needed.

Directions for use

1. Thoroughly clean the hoof and frog.
2. Apply the gel directly to the frog.
3. If necessary, protect deeper cracks and grooves using a cotton plug.
4. It is recommended to cover the cotton plug with an additional layer of gel to create a flexible protective dressing.
5. Repeat after approximately 1–3 days, depending on the severity of the condition.
