Mud Fever Spray

Mud fever is a painful and troublesome condition that most commonly affects the pasterns of horses. In its early stages, it may appear as redness, mild swelling, and small abrasions of the skin. Dryness and flaking of the epidermis may also occur.

As the condition progresses, mud fever can lead to more severe skin changes. Affected areas may begin to crack, forming painful wounds, scabs, and discharge that can contribute to secondary bacterial infections. In more advanced cases, the skin may become thickened and hardened, causing discomfort and potentially leading to more serious issues such as lameness.

Directions for use

1. Thoroughly wash the affected area using a mild cleansing agent. Leave the product on for a few minutes to soften and loosen the scabs.
2. Carefully remove the softened scabs and dead skin. If necessary, trim or remove hair around the affected area to improve access of the products to the skin.
3. Rinse the cleaned area thoroughly with clean water and gently dry the skin.
4. Evenly apply the spray to the affected area.
5. Use regularly until the symptoms subside.
